Christmas presents for the ladies in your life

November 23rd, 2010 by admin

With the festive period fast approaching it may be a time of joy for many, but there is a section of the population that is beginning to panic. Yes, the men across the world are realising that Christmas is almost upon us and the dreaded search for that Christmas present is nearing. Unfortunately, for men it is that one time of the year where they have to do the present shopping for themselves and daunting tasking of choosing the gift for partners and parents begins.
But fear not, there is help out there. No longer do you have to battle against crowds and stand puzzled within the beauty section, or clothes shops, trying desperately to remember what shades of make up their partner uses, or what clothes size she is, not to mention musical and DVD tastes. t-news : Akomplice X Hieroglyphics

November 14th, 2010 by Bailey Isabel

They got together with the legendary Bay Area crew to create something truly unique – They brought the fabric, Hieroglyphics brought the beats.

Akomplice took their very popular Hooded Varsity silhouette and created a special version that bears their logo along with Hiero’s logo. Then Hieroglyphics took it up another level by creating an original track, specifically for the project, that will come with the jacket.

Skirt to Mad Men-esque dress

November 14th, 2010 by Hunter Leigh

Strictly speaking, this shouldn’t be posted here, since I made it way back in August and only started the challenge in November, but yesterday was only the third time of me wearing it because the shoulder-baring cut is not the best for European fall weather, while the long sleeves are not the best for hot summer weather… Also, I don’t know how long the site will let me post, so I’m trying to contribute as much as possible while I can… still sad it’s ending…

I made this from an old long skirt, leftover sleeves and some floral fabric. More about it here.

Cheers,

Merchandise, such as handbags, scarfs, ties, t-shirts, wallpaper and much more printed with Marilyn pictures are still a big seller.

No wonder that lingerie manufacturers such as Shirley of Hollywood were encouraged to create a lingerie line inspired by Marilyn. They created a line including elegant corsets, Marilyn printed chemises, sexy robes with Marilyn buttons, cocktail dresses and more.

Young Hollywood’s latest winter trend seems to be knee high lace up boots. Stars like Taylor Momsen, Katie Cassidy and Taylor Swift love rocking the vintage-yet-edgy style. Get creative and find ways to spice up your boot repertoire, while still looking classy and relevant.
